Essential Oil Benefits

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint has been used throughout history to soothe sore muscles, an aching body suffering from the flu and other illnesses, and to clear a tired mind- users of this oil in clinical studies have reported mood elevation as a primary result. This oil has also been known to calm, soften, and tone skin.

Benefits of Peppermint Oil

  • Stress reduction

  • Respiratory support and congestion relief

  • Cooling of the skin for hot summer days

  • High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A and many minerals

  • Headache relief

Tea Tree Essential Oil
People that love the great outdoors and aromas that remind them of a crisp forest enjoy the smell of products containing tea tree oil. Steam containing tea tree oil, such as that created in a hot bubble bath, can clear congested sinuses as well as disinfect the skin, helping with body acne and detoxification. When combined with eucalyptus, like in my Inhale soap, tea tree produces an amazing anti-congestive effect that cleanses the sinuses as well as soothes the mind.

Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender has been long-regarded as a miracle oil for its skin and mind-soothing benefits. Clinical studies recently created to learn more about essential oils have used lavender and discovered that it is indeed a stress-buster. We use lavender in our soap for de-stressing qualities on irritated and sensitive skin, as well as for the pacifying effects it has on the nerves.

Lavandin Essential Oil

A hybrid of the lower-elevation classic lavender, and the higher-elevation spike lavender, this plant has a heady-sweet aroma that reminds us of what lavender should smell like. While the oil is great for perfecting the scent of a delicious lavender soap, there are also many properties that help sensitive skin like mine. The oil is rumored to help dermatitis, as well as muscle soreness, with its anti-inflammatory properties.
